Skydiving

skydiving

Skydiving is, undoubtedly, one of the most exhilarating activities in the world today. If you happen to be in California, take advantage of its breathtaking landscape and experience this adrenaline pumping ride. With beautiful views of its mountains, rivers, lakes, ocean and forest preserves, there is no better way to appreciate the beauty of nature while experiencing the biggest thrill of your life!

There are two different forms of skydiving; the first type is known as tandem skydiving. Tandem skydiving is the best choice for first-time skydivers because it requires little or no effort on your part, as an instructor is harnessed to you throughout the entire ride. Training will usually take less than an hour and you get to experience speeds of up to 120 miles per hour.

The second type of skydiving is known as accelerated free fall, or the solo dive. Accelerated free fall requires more intense training than tandem sky diving (about 4-6 hours). But those who feel confident in solo jumps should go for it! Besides, the mind-blowing experience of reaching speeds of over 160-180 mph is well worth the extra effort!

The Date Activity

Skydiving on your date is an amazing way to break the ice. It will bring out the thrill-seeking, spontaneous, wild side of your personality. However, not everyone will agree to such an extreme activity. Furthermore, it can get pricey. Tandem skydiving can range between $165-200 per person, per jump, on average, as accelerated free fall can range between $280-350 per person, per jump, on average.

On Your Own / With Friends

If your date is not as receptive as you to the idea of skydiving, then you can always enjoy this exhilarating activity solo or with friends. With convenient locations, mostly, within an hour of most major cities, ditch the amusement theme park for some adrenaline pumping fun at your nearby skydiving center.
