Instead, I suggest that you take some basic precautions before going out on your date. Before you go out on your date, make sure that you tell a friend and/or family member who you’re going with and where you are going. The best time to meet is during the day and in a public place, so maybe it would be best to start with a coffee date at the local Starbucks (or your favorite local shop). Also, why not ask him to bring a friend along and you guys can have a double date. This may not be the best idea for a first date, but you’ll feel a lot more comfortable.
