All the shame behind living at home with parents at an advanced age is related to American ideals of consumption and greed. People in this country are taught from a very young age that unless they have their OWN massive home, pimped out AMG Benz, etc., they're LOSERS. This American ideal was shaped in a time when their were lots of high paying union factory jobs and cheap homes to buy. Times have changed for sure. Living with the family in the same home is a great way to conserve resources, space and money. I envy those who still live with their family's, truly. If you live with mom and dad you can still be a playa. All you gotta do is learn some basic carpentry so you can soundproof your walls, install doors with combo locks, and add an escape hatch/contraption for unworthy or secret guests.
