The Big C - Commitment
Mar 12th, 2007 | Commitment, Relationship Advice
Many people are afraid of the big C – also known as commitment. However, without commitment many relationships are doomed for failure. Some people are so afraid of committing in a relationship that they actually have a phobia about it. Many relationships end suddenly because one partner is ready for a commitment and the other is not. Whether you are thinking about a marriage commitment or just interested in dating your partner exclusively, commitment is a big step and one that both partners need to agree upon before taking together. If one party is committed and the other is not, a troubled journey lies ahead. Here are some issues to take into consideration to help determine if you are ready for a commitment.
Date Movie: “Say Anything”
Mar 11th, 2007 | Date Movies, Romance
When I stared writing this blog back in June, I set aside a little section called “Date Movies” where I began to list some great movies that you could check out with your date or significant other (in fact, it was the first blog post I ever wrote). Needless to say, I have neglected this portion of the blog…even though I promised to feature a different movie each week. So without further ado, I will start of with one of my favorite romantic films, Say Anything.
Say Anything (ROMANCE - 1989 – Starring John Cusack and Ione Skye): Written and Directed by Cameron Crowe, Say Anything is a feel-good romantic comedy about first love. Lloyd (John Cusack) is an optimistic High School graduate whose only certainty in life is that he wants to be with Diane (Ione Skye), a straight-A student whose future is all planned out by her over-protective father (played by John Mahoney). Is their love strong enough to withstand their differences and Diane’s disapproving father?
The Critics Choice
Mar 10th, 2007 | Date Movies
Let’s face it, movie critics can have a lot of power and what they say can either bring in visitors or keep them away (most of the time). But have you ever decided to keep track of those critics who can’t seem to get it right?

Mar 9th, 2007 | Infidelity, Relationship Advice
Infidelity is one of the hardest things to go through in a relationship. What may even be worse then finding out that your boyfriend is cheating on you, is wondering if it is happening or not. At first, you may see signs and begin to have doubts. You may even ask if there is someone else. He empathically answers no and assures you that everything is ok, but still you continue to have your doubts. You may even feel as if you are going crazy or feel upset that you don’t trust your boyfriend. Well, before you decide to elicit the help of the “Cheaters” team, here are some things that you can look out for to help determine if in fact, he is cheating on you.
Topics Not For Discussion! (First Date Rules)
Mar 7th, 2007 | Dating Advice, First Dates
You never get a second chance to make a first impression. Therefore, what happens on a first date can set the course of your future. If you want to ensure that your first date is a hit and leads to a second, then you may want to curb your topic of conversation and stay away from some issues that are sure to stir up the waters of debate. Controversy is not a great subject for first date dinner discussions (unless both parties are members of a debate team) but even then, it would be better to stick with general and more pleasant dialogue. Here are some issues that should be avoided at all cost when on a first date.
Best Pick Up Lines
Mar 5th, 2007 | Attraction, Dating Advice
When it comes to romance, everything hinges upon that first interaction. When you are first attracted to someone it may be something as simple as a gaze, or locking eyes that let’s you know there is plenty of chemistry between the two of you. But without ever having the opportunity to communicate, you may never find out if that person may be Mr. or Mrs. Right.

Mar 2nd, 2007 | Dating Advice, Relationship Advice
You may have been friends for years. You shared secrets, talked about each other’s relationships, and knew you were always destined to be buddies. But now it seems something has changed. First, you notice that you can’t wait for your best friend to call. Have I actually fallen in love with my best friend?"
Choosing The Perfect Engagement Ring
Feb 28th, 2007 | Relationship Advice
When you have found the perfect woman and you are ready to propose, you will want to make sure that you purchase the perfect engagement ring. Traditionally, many women like to pick out the ring themselves and you can use this to your advantage, especially if you are planning on surprising her with a ring.
A great idea that you can use to your benefit is to browse some quality jewelry stores with her. Chances are, you can enter the store under false pretenses, perhaps say that you want to look at gold chains. She will most likely move over to the engagement rings by herself and begin browsing. If not, you can begin looking over some jewelry close to that section. Once she takes the bait, discuss the rings with her. This way you can find out what she likes, dislikes.
How To Be A Hopeless Romantic
Feb 26th, 2007 | Relationship Advice, Romance
It may be said that a hopeless romantic is in love with being in love. This person is often consumed with thoughts of bringing, showing, and expressing love and romance to their partner. A hopeless romantic may be male or female and for the true romantic, it seems that the art of love comes naturally.
