Chances are, you can enter the store under false pretenses, perhaps say that you want to look at gold chains. She will most likely move over to the engagement rings by herself and begin browsing. If not, you can begin looking over some jewelry close to that section. Once she takes the bait, discuss the rings with her. This way you can find out what she likes, dislikes.
